Texas recognizes beekeeping as an agricultural use. The county appraisal district makes the final decision on whether a specific property meets all 1-d-1 agricultural appraisal requirements.
Beekeeping agricultural use can apply to qualifying tracts from 5 to 20 acres, but hive-count and intensity standards vary by appraisal district. We review your county's current requirements before recommending a setup.
Managed colonies, installation, routine inspections, feeding and treatment when needed, queen and colony management, normal replacement support, and service records. The annual lease is $385 per hive plus a one-time setup fee for new properties.
Yes. We sell seasonal five-frame nucs and queen bees for local pickup. Purchased bees are separate from the fully managed agricultural leasing program.

Our lease program is $385 per hive per year plus a one-time $200 setup fee for new properties. We handle colony placement, hive management, inspections, and annual service documentation.
